LA FORGE is a family-run project born in the South of France which currently encompasses restored holiday cottages, restored holiday apartments, and in the near future restored French furniture.
Our family has always had a passion for the old yellow stone houses found throughout the Dordogne region. We lovingly renovate these wonderful dilapidated buildings, and source neglected pieces of furniture to furnish them, bringing them back to life with the love and care that they deserve.
We strive to respect the heritage of the old to create something even more beautiful. Most things in the accommodation have been uniquely restored for you with care and love.
LA FORGE is for people who want more than just a base for their holiday. It is for those who want something authentic which can touch their hearts and create a deeper connection with the rich traditions in which the area is steeped.
Each fairytale cottage and boutique apartment in our small self-run portfolio encapsulates our philosophy of recapturing a little bit of history, and bringing it into the Modern World – learning from the past to enhance the future in order to forge an experience which offers the best of both worlds.
